Who Am I?
My name is Antonio. I grew up in San Antonio, Texas, and my interest in fitness started pretty early. When I was about 13 years old, my dad started taking me to the gym with him, and that’s really where everything began! At first it was just something we did together, but over time it became a regular part of my routine. Throughout high school I played baseball, and lifting was always something I kept up with alongside that.
When I went to Clemson University in 2020, my focus in the gym started to shift. I was still training consistently, but I became a lot more interested in bodybuilding-style training and learning how to structure workouts and nutrition to actually make progress over time. I spent a lot of time learning about programming, tracking progress, and figuring out what works and what doesn’t.
While I was at Clemson, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Business Administration. After graduating, I moved to Charlotte with my dog, Oakley, to start my career as a full-time mechanical engineer.
Even with a full-time engineering job, fitness has always been something I care a lot about. Over time I realized I really enjoyed helping other people learn how to train properly and stay consistent, so I decided to make it official and became a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
Now I coach clients on the side alongside my engineering career. My goal is to help people who want to take their training seriously but need structure, accountability, and a clear plan to follow. Fitness has been a big part of my life for a long time, and coaching is a way for me to help others build that same consistency and confidence in the gym!
